ANXIETY VISUALIZATION (CONTINUING)
The Anxiety-Visualization Accessory is an ongoing EXP project designed for the mental workers who are easy to be anxious but lack of expression and release.
Target User: mental worker
Scenario: high stressful environment
The anxiety detector uses the thermistor under the nose to detect the respiratory rate (breathing in: lower temperature; breathing out: higher temperature).
The normal respiratory rate for a healthy adult is 12–20 breaths per minute.
When the respiratory rate is more than 25 breaths per minute, then user is more likely to be anxious.
When the user is anxious, the accessory will be inflated. Then it will be inflated and deflated repetitively to simulate the real-time respiratory rate of user.
In the meanwhile, the LED will start to blink by following the respiratory rate.
This is intuitive to show the user’s anxiety. Not proactive, but effective.
